I already mentioned about addiction for food and how it affected our health and how was it really harmful.....Now  comes addiction to GAMBLING !!!

Gambling leads to thrill in life along with the risk which is further accompanied.

Gambling is a type of impulse control disorder and is known as compulsive gambling.When gamblers are completely into gambling and cannot control their thirst for gambling they are probably entering into the region where they know that gambling is hurting them and their loved ones but still they continue .They keep gambling even they are depressed ,happy,sad whatever, they only think about gambling whatever may be the consequences.Those who are addicted to gambling often become obsessed with the thought of winning back the money they've lost, and so they continue to gamble.They struggle both with the time and money ....they try to quit but their impulse does not allow them to quit.Too much time spent on gambling and they face a breakdown in relationships
and loss of friendship.Betting takes over their life as they want more money so they use their savings ,even their children's education savings and if more, they start borrowing money.
You may feel pushed to borrow, sell, or even steal things for gambling money. It’s a vicious cycle. You may sincerely believe that gambling more money is the only way to win lost money back. But it only puts you further and further in the hole.Gambling addicts place bets for reasons other than entertainment, often trying to escape anxiety or other problems. They gamble in order to earn more and more money.Whatever issues you face,remember gambling is not the solution.It is a dark side for some people which leads to personal and financial ruin.

It is estimated that around 2%-3% of people in America suffer from Gambling addiction. This means that millions of people in the United States of America suffer from this unique disorder.
Other studies indicate that even though males comprise of a major chunk of people suffering from this disease, there is an increase in the number of women developing this disease.

According to a study, people in the US spend $5 billion annually on gambling activities.
Families of people suffering from gambling addiction are more likely to face domestic violence as gambling addicts most commonly engage in frequent quarrel and fights with their family members over the issue of gambling. According to a study, the children of gambling addicts are more likely to develop mental disorders such as stress, depression and other mental disorders.


Gambling affects your body and emotions.
It leads to frustration,irritation,,sorrow,stress,depression,loneliness,fear..The aim of your life fades away......It totally disrupts your life and your reason to live life.When gamblers are feeling hopeless, the risk of suicide is also high.

If you feel that you have a gambling problem than talk about it to your near ones family or friends who support you....after all its just like any other addiction admit the fact.Try to stay away from any kind of gambling environment  like sports, scratch cards, roulette, poker, or slots in a casino or online.Close your account and do not use credit cards..try to spend as less money you can.You can also take the help of an expert to get you out of this situation.
